AN offer by a top pianist to come to Kidderminster Library proves its reputation as a music venue is growing, staff say.
Geoffrey Buckley will be playing the library's Steinway piano next Wednesday lunchtime as part of the Hidden Treasures series of concerts.
Head librarian Ron Hoggarth said Mr Buckley, who will perform music by Mozart and Brahms, is a former head of keyboard studies at Cardiff College of Music and Drama.
"I am delighted he is so keen to play here. It proves you do not have to travel to Birmingham or elsewhere to enjoy top performances," Mr Hoggarth added.
