This was a very tragic and indeed a traumatic, yet for the listener a fascinating, story, delivered by Paul Oppenheimer in a very dispassionate and completely unbiased tone and a certain sense of humour, describing his life during the Nazi years in Germany. He arrived in England at the end of 1945 to start a new life, and for Services to Industry he received an MBE in 1990.
