WICK WALKERS: A near-record 19 walkers (including five visitors from Shropshire) met by the river in Pershore on Sunday for a one-way stroll to Fladbury. Almost as soon as they started, the gloomy weather turned to sunshine, and several layers of clothing were quickly transferred to rucksacks. Recent rain had left the footpath to Wyre Mill a little soggy, but the rest of the way was on quiet roads and dry paths, and the walkers had good views southwards over the Avon and the fields of Wick.   more...

The returns were being analysed and a working group would meet after Easter to consider the results.
