SIR - May I praise the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for the prompt attention my husband received when he was admitted to the hospital. They get a lot of criticism and I thought it was about time they had some good press. I couldn't fault the hospital staff at all - they were all working under extreme pressure, but remained cheerful, and the hospital itself was spotless.   more...

Cash for car park

SIR - Before they build the multi-storey car park at the Royal Hospital may I make some suggestions? First, it is only for the hospital staff; second, the most they charge the lower paid staff is 50p a day. Worcester City Council owns it, so any profits go back to the council who could then plough it all back into the upkeep of the car park.   more...
